Following complaints from a number of mental health charities, including the Suicide Prevention Action Network, the American Psychiatric Association and Mental Health America, Volkswagen was withdrawn this advert from broadcast. According to the complaints, the advert was guilty of mocking and exploiting the serious subject of suicide.
