Snickers Rugby commercial
Published December 8th, 2007 in Advert, Campaigns, Commercials, Entertainment, Food and Beverage, TV, VideoWe are already used to see Snickers ads using the transformers motive on them. The Don`t stop series are mostly dedicated to this theme. I remember the Snickers/NFL illustrated advertising campaign that was using quite the same transforming characters.

This one is also made by BBDO Moscow and is following the last ones story.
Spot is showing humans, transformed in creatures by the effect of Snickers, playing rugby on a old forgotten airport. Just like the other spots, the actions are on some lost places were people can transform as they please.
Great illustrated work for Snichers made by Spy Films, using sophisticated motion capture and live action techniques.

Pretty sure it’s football not Rugby, they’re passing forward. Cool commercial anyway though.
You may be right, but all recommended this spot as Snickers Rugby and not Snickers Football.
Good observation about “passing forward”.
I hate how snickers is being advertised as an “energy” bar. It’s as if, eat this sugary candy and you will become some freaky awesome robot that can play football. (not rugby)
Yah, this is what they pretend to do and this is the image they sell.
You can hear the NZ All Blacks haka in the background… At least make the players slightly Maori? Please?
Ok: To american guys: this is an Snickers Football commercial.
And for the rest of you: this is an Snickers Rugby commercial.
Is this ok with you guys?
Many thanks NZer for clarifications. Also bobafett_12 was right about “passing forward”.
Us geeks demand that the possibilities be expanded to include capture the flag.
Actually its american football or NFL as rugby here you can’t throw forward and in football you can’t pick up the ball o_0
