Anti smoking campaign ads
Published September 3rd, 2007 in Advert, Campaigns, Personal Care, Photo, Print, SocialAshes to ashes..Dust to dust ..and when the dust settles The end.
Anti Tobacco Warning Issued in Public Interest.
Refers to both the actual smoking of cigarette and the ashes and dust it leaves behind and also the last rites performed at a persons funeral. When all the ashes of the cigarette settle the person is no more he literally turns into ashes and dust.
Why this untimely death?
Second Hand smoke kills.
The father is responsible for smoking in his son’s presence; this has affected the child who has died at a very young age, but the man doesn’t understand that it was his smoking that killed his young son. It is to stress that people are unaware of the effects of second hand smoking.
They say death appears in mysterious ways.
This doesn`t apply to smokers.
Caution: Smoking kills.
The idea behind this ad is death is supposed to be mysterious and one never knows when it will strike or how one would die. But my take is in a sarcastic tone, this doesn’t apply to smokers, because they are fully aware that they are going to die because they smoke.
